Despite WWE seemingly Repeating Their Cycle, Will WWE Most Likely Return to a Ruthless Aggression Era?
Basically, WWE were PG up until 1996 (I think). Since this is the first revisit to PG we can only assume their repeating a process:
PG,
Attitude Era,
Ruthless Aggression (momentum of AE wears off)
PG
But aren’t WWE more likely to become TV14 in a Ruthless Aggression era?
I would never count that out, and there is always a possibility. WWE has changed before so there is a good chance it may change again. And god, I hope that it doesn’t go lower then PG. Is that even possible in the pro-wrestling world? So to be honest, it can be attitude era or rulthless aggression era, I believe it can change, simply because it what this generation wants. Here is the deal, PG are kids. Kids grow up and want more hardcore things. So either WWE drives them to TNA, or they change for the sake of their company, which has been the case each time they changed. PG -> Attitude Era for the rating wars. Attitude Era -> Ruthless Aggression to meet up to the moderate level that is allowed by the FCC as they no longer had to be drastic in their storylines anymore. Ruthless Agression -> PG to shape up the image of WWE and to appeal to the new generation of fans, the kids.
PS. its actually not just because of Linda McMahon’s campaign run. Its a reason to be PG, but even it it ends, it not the reason for it to stay PG. See, Vince McMahon always wanted PG and hated going through with the attitude era as he wanted to keep WWE family oriented. So even if Linda wins or lose, PG will still remain. Plus the no blood policy and chair shots will still remain as that was don’t for the safety of the wrestlers and to keep it clean for the FCC. So sadly, its still up to Vince who wants PG. Always had, however, with the recent buyrates and ratings, its possible for Vince to become desperate again and change that rating.

Anyways,they would be,but some wouldn’t be. WWE was always PG before the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression Era.Even back then people were getting bored of seeing the same stuff every week. Then you have people that really like the repetitive storylines instead of a cluster of too many.
Also,there would be no WWE if the Attitude Era was never created. It was made to beat WCW in ratings and if WWF ratings kept dropping before the Attitude Era,it would’ve died around 2000/2001. We would be watching WCW every week instead of WWE.
But then again, people would get tired of it and switch over to TNA or ROH or something else out there and WWE would have to do something new to bring their fans back. Even though it was PG before the Attitude Era,it was still way better than the current PG Era.
