Star wars Force FX Lightsaber?
So as of late, I’ve been thinking about buying a star wars force fx lightsaber, but im at a loss as to where to buy it from.
I know of several websites that sell it, such as thinkgeek.com, Hasbro.com, and Amazon.com.
Only problem is, the lightsabers are made from 2 different companies which are Hasbro and i believe Master Replica or something like that.
What im trying to ask is, is there really a difference between the brands? Pros and Cons of each? For pros and cons, i look mainly into the feel of the saber, and the brightness and sound. The brighter the better!
And lasty, would you guys recommend any of them for dueling?
And to be more specific, im looking into a blue saber, which is either gonna be obi-wan, or anakin.

Master Replicas originally came out with the FX Lightsaber and are getting harder and harder to find because Hasbro has taken over production of the sword.
Is there a difference? No. I have a few lightsabers from both companies and they are both in great working condition for as long as I’ve had them.
For dueling? That depends on how hard you’re swinging. I have a seven and six year old and they duel on occasion without messing them up. As a full grown adult, I know my own strength so with a good few wacks, I know the sabers will F up. They are too nice and too pricey to want to break.
Colors? It’s a matter of shopping around. I bought my Darth Maul online, my Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker (green one) at Spencer’s, and my other two at ToysRUs.
If you really want to get down with some serious dueling action, try www.ultrasabers.com. They sell some $30-$40 lightsabers that light up pretty sweet and can take a hit but they don’t look as cool. If you bust one, at least you didn’t spend over $100…
