When will Lucas films make a new Star Wars movie about Han and Lando? You know, Han, Lando, the Falcon, Chewie?
Star Wars needs a movie to fill the gap. We know that Lando lost the Falcon to Han in a sabacc game, when do we get to see it all go down?
Never … I mean seriously … you want a movie made to show the events of a card game … even if they were to make the movie about the entire Sabacc Tournament at which this happened it STILL wouldn’t be enough subject matter to make a movie out of. Another major flaw to your question … if there isn’t a “Skywalker” in it then it ain’t a SW movie. Lucas has stated many, many, many, MANY times since the release of ep III that he is not going to make anymore live action movies … end of story.
That being said this story HAS been told in the books of the EU (Expanded Universe) in The Han Solo Trilogy written by A.C. Crispin. The titles are “The Paradise Snare”, “The Hutt Gambit”, & “Rebel Dawn”. These 3 books pretty much follow Han from when he was in his early teens right up to his meeting with Obi-Wan & Luke in the cantina on Tatooine and is a pretty well written series.
There is also a 3 books series called the Han Solo Adventures written by Brian Daley. The titles are “Han Solo At Stars End”, “Han Solo’s Revenge”, & “Han Solo & The Lost Legacy”. Lando has his own “Adventure” trilogy written by Neil Smith. Titles are … “Lando Calrissian & The Mindharp Of Sharu”, “Lando Calrissian & The Flamewind Of Oseon”, & “Lando Calrissian & The Starcave Of Thonboka”.
These 9 books overlap each other in many places but they’ve done a hell of a job keeping them all canon without contradicting each other. How they fit in the time line is as follows:

All that being said you could get away with just reading the Han Solo Trilogy by AC Crispin. That’s not to say the other books aren’t good it just means the event you are asking about is in that trilogy of books.

Top 4 Star Wars Bounty Hunters
I don’t even acknowledge the existence of the Star Wars prequels so this list is going to only deal with bounty hunters in the first three Star Wars movies.
Bossk
Bossk is a Trandoshan bounty hunter who has a repitllian looking face and very frightening appearance. He is the pilot of the Hound’s Tooth ship and has great hatred for Chewbacca and Han Solo. Darth Vader enlisted Bossk to hut them down and Bossk clashed many times with Boba Fett who eventually managed to catch them and imprison Solo in carbonite. Bossk is not a bounty hunter you want to mess with due to his unrelenting behavior and his grudge holding.
Dengar
Dengar was originally a Corellian mercenary and Imperial assassin and later earned his keep as a bounty hunter feared and successful enough to be recruited by Darth Vader to try and capture Han Solo. Dengar wears a dingy, turban like cloth around his head to conceal all the mechanical and enhanced electronic circuitry which he uses to heighten his auditory and visual systems making him part man and part machine.
4-Lom
4-Lom is an insect-looking protocol droid with giant eyes that resemble hid lights who was able to rewrite his code and embark on a life of bounty hunting and criminal activity. 4-Lom was often paired with the other bounty hunter Zuckuss to hunt down bounties for Jabba the Hutt. His success in these bounties caught the eye of Darth Vader who enlisted him along with other bounty hunters to find and capture the Millenium Falcon and Han Solo.
Boba Fett
One of the most famous bounty hunters, Boba Fett has a storied history as a Mandalorian warrior who was originally a clone of Jango Fett and used as part of the Grand Army of the Republic. Fett is one of the most feared and clever of the galaxies bounty hunters, skills he used to outwit the other hunters and capture Han Solo and the Millenium Falcon for himself. Fett was seemingly killed when he was thrust into the mouth of a Sarlacc during the skirmish outside Jabba the Hutt’s lair on Tatooine. In later stories, Fett would be the only known person to survive and escape from a Sarlacc.
