how to tune a traxxas tmaxx 2.5 rc to factory how many turns on each screw?
4 turns out is the starting point for the main needle, and the rpm needle should be 1-2mm out from the flush of the carb.
They dont specify a location for the high speed needle, I always start with it flush to the carb and slowly turn it out a quarter turn till it starts and runs strong.
If it doesnt start with factory settings and it’s cold out you may want to richen it even more to 4 and a half as a start point.

If you really * learn (or know) how small engines work you can definitely get a car nitro running at its best and get a great performance out of it. If you are not willing to put in the extra time to learn adjust the stop, knowing when it is too poor, etc. – may hate your nitro car. An electric motor brush and RC NiMH pack is a configuration simple and easy for new fans collection. LiPo Packs Brushless Systems are the involvement of a little more and require care and caution when using. Again – there is a learning curve for brushless systems.
