what is the diffrence between obstruction and shielding the ball..?
I know obstruction is “illegally stopping a player from reaching the ball by using hes body” thats pretty much what shielding is.. like shielding the ball out of bounce so the other player cant get it? you know? please explain
basically if you are preventing the other player from getting to the ball when you have NO control over the ball you are obstructing him/her. if you DO have control of the ball then you are allowed to shield it from the other player.
the rules state that being in control of the ball means it has to be roughly within a legs length away from you
