Champ Car has lost another event (China), so they’re in trouble, especially if the European Tour fails. They also lost the race in Denver. The IRL is rumored to have an event at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina, so they have to be in decent shape to take a big gamble like that. Their isn’t any public news about a merger, but it could be happening, but behind very closed doors. If there is no merger Champ Car will have a season, they amount of dates is the question.
