What would happen if in the 1st year you have your license, you’re carrying a passenger?
Because I know that without a note from a parent, boss, coach, princpal, etc, you can’t drive other people the first year with your license. Has anyone been caught on that in SoCal yet? What happens?
So I live in NorCal but I talked to my Explorer Leader first about it and he said he would definitely tow the car, and when it went to court it’d be up to the judge to decide whether or not to take your license away until you were 18. Some judges are hardasses, others will just give you a slap on the wrist.
It’s just not worth it, losing your license until your 18 for friends. It’s been so tempting for me not to, but then I think, well, then they’ll get their licenses and probably not drive me so whatever.

You can fully expect to find air conditioning, reclining seats (complete with seatbelts) and good quality toilet facilities. If you have visions of a coach with hard, rigid and uncomfortable seating then you are wrong; things have improved enormously over the years in the world of coach trips.
The only thing you have to worry about is where it is you want to go to. Well, things have changed a fair bit in this area as well. Gone are the days of having to choose between a weekend break in Skegness or Cromer. There are all manner of destinations to choose from; you can just stay within England, Wales or Scotland or go a little further afield. Can I drive a coach or bus without passengers on my Full UK car licence?
OK, have heard rumors of this, could somone with a catagory B, B1, f, k, p, licence be able to drive a coach or bus, without passengers? I was led to belive if the seating is removed one could do this… is this true or not?
Once upon a time you could – now you cannot if it exceeds the weight limits that you can drive. As most buses and coaches weigh in at 10 tonne then you cannot on a B licence category. (B1 means nothing in this context as it is for three wheel cars and similar)
