Help choosing a MTG deck color.?

Well can anyone help or give advice on how to choose two colors for MTG decks. I currently have a W/B deck but it sucks and i am staring from scratch, also i’ve heard it is a good color combo but then it is hard to put together, my strategy was to have a lot of mana so i can bring out powerful monsters and spells.

The thing that matters the most is a fun deck.

I think Red/Green deck would suit your tastes fine. With Green’s mana acceleration and fatties coupled with Red’s direct damage and fast monsters, you’re looking at a simple, but solid deck.

One of my funnest decks was one that revolved around Fires of Yavimaya, which gives all your creatures haste, and some small guys such as Kird Ape for R (which is a 2/3 if you have a forest out), while you pave way for bigger ones.

I don’t know about the newer decks anymore, but if you play casual and can tap into the older rotation of cards, you can find everything that you will need.

Kird Ape (R) – 1/1 but becomes 2/3 with a forest
Flametongue Kavu 3R – 4/2 that deals 4 damage to a creature when it comes out, etc.

E-bay is going to cost you fees(pay pal fees, auction fees, etc) I would look into finding local comic shops in your area to start. Also I would look into grabbing a price book for the cards as some can be worth some descent money. But you will get more money at a shop that specifically sells mtg cards, just search for shops in your area on google or whatever search engine you use, it should give you a handful within a few miles of your house (depending on where you live of course!)

Another option is Craigslist, put a posting describing the set and list some of the key cards included and you will almost certainly get a few suitors for your cards.
