Lancer Evo
Looking for a serious anwser. How can I find out the value of a Lancer Evo 8 2003 with no/blown engine?
pretty much I am the cosigner and want it off my credit. The signer blew the engine and quit making payments. If I can at least get a value of everything minue the engine (engines cost about $4000) then I know what I’m working with. And no, I can’t get the signer to pay anything.
i have a Evo 8 too but mine is the MR FQ320 version (right hand drive) without engine and everything else is intact, chassis with no trust it will go for at least 14 grand at least.
Currently Evo’s 8 and 9 (which is particularly the same) are sought after because true Evo’s fan think that the Evo 10 is not a true Evo because is too soft, too big ect.

Well… Nowadays your seeing a lot of corporate cost cutting with regards to this economic climate. Mitsubishi is no different. The rumour is that Mitsubishi is staying in the North American market, but with only two models. Instead of leaving altogether. I am pretty confident that the Lancer is staying since that’s thats the best selling Mitsubishi… and since it has to be a car to a much wider audience I am sure the EVO will still be offered
