Is a no sew fleece blanket too girly to give to a guy friend?
I was wondering if a no sew fleece tie blanket for my friend with his favorite football team for the fabric would be too girly to give to him for Christmas.
Last time I checked, football is still a guy thing as long as the blanket is not pink.

Making your own fleece throw blanket is a simple job that the most beginner seamstress should be able to do. Simply cut the fabric to the required size and give all of the edges a small hem. There are also a wide variety of new sew fleece blanket kits that can be found at your local fabric or crafts store.
Fleece throw blankets come in handy while traveling too. They are durable, light, and simply folded to fit into a small bag. They make the perfect picnic blanket thanks to their natural capability to repel water. They also work best on camping trips. They’re perfect to cuddle under while watching for shooting stars. These flexible plush blankets make excellent gifts for nearly all occasions.

Is there a way to get whiteout correction fluid off of a fleece blanket?
I am wondering how to get whiteout correction fluid off of a fleece blanket that I have without damaging the blanket or having to put it through multiple washes.
Mmm – tricky one with fleece. I would first off try removing as much as possible by scraping & picking it off if it is just on the surface. As fleece has quite a ‘loose’ surface, you may find that this leaves it looking a little thinner in one place, but at least it should be all one colour.
If the fluid has soaked in, you need a solvent. The usual solvent for correction fluid is White Spirit (if you are in the USA I think it is called mineral spirits). I am reasonably confident that this is safe to use on fleece, but it may be worth just testing a small area first. Saturate the stain and rub gently until it loosens, then launder. White Spirit doesn’t smell too great and in may take a few washes to take the smell out – it helps if you absorb as much as possible with talcum powder first. If this does not work, then try WD40. WD40 can only be washed out using a biological detergent though .
I have heard that rubbing alcohol works, also methylated spirits , but I have never tried them myself.
