40k Chaos Space Marines Question?

I recently bought a Warhammer 40k Chaos Space Marines Assault Squad (just five guys). When I went to put the gun that is not attached to any arm on, it didn’t fit! The arm is too close to the body, but I cannot figure out how to fix this. If anybody has had this same problem and/or can help me, please reply!

Can I use space marines as chaos space marines in tournaments?

i have the assault on black reach set and i want to know if i can paint my space marines as chaos space marines and use them officially (In a tournament and stuff)

I also picked up the black reach set and just bought a tyranid army and am now thinking about buillding a chaos army as well. The only way those models from the black reach set will be playable in tourneys from what I have gathered is if you mod them to look like chaos space marines. You also need them to hold the weapons you want them to have, most tourneys are wysiwyg (what you see is what you get). They are pretty strict about that too. Casual playing (and stuff) is a little different. If you are new like me, most are just happy to have new players join the hobby and are pretty open. Its the vets they might give a hard time to. Learn the game, save up and just buy the boxed sets that chaos sells. The annihilation force, renegade strike force are the two I am buying. Go to www.thewarstore.com for these or anything.
