Alum Front
i have a some 22in rims on my frontier chrome and my friend brought some chrome and alum cleaner to my house?
and said to try it once i i did after i washed it off on my front right rim it left a couple of rainbow colored stain and it wont com e off it looks like acid stains then i read on the bottle and it said to delout it some one please help these rims were expensive!!!
okay, heres some thing for you to try, but be careful! some polishes are NOT to be used on plated surfaces, this would ruin them further. Tarnax is a very strong polish that doesnt need to be diluted and can be used on plated surfaces. most of the time it will clean the surface without ant scrubbing at all but for a good shine i’d go with a little extra elbow grease for good luck. i have gotten heat marks out of stainless steel with tarnax before. if all else fails find a detailer and ask if they can remove the marks. if they are truely expensive rims, any price a detailer will give you to clean your rims would be well worth it. if you do decide to go the tarnax route first, you can find it at shopko or walmart, beware…it smells like rotton eggs, and my advese would be to not cut corners and do the work manually…dont grab a buffer ball for your drill… give your rims some good sweet lovin and they’ll treat you right.

Gain on amp is set to my optimal settings (about half way)
Played with gain until desired settings. (Set by ear)
1/0 ga wire to D-block
Using a dual fused D-block in the engine bay
- ANL 150 amp fuse (used for H.O. Alternator)
- ANL 100 amp fuse (used as power wire to amp)
- I added the “BIG 3″ using 4 ga cables
- Added 3 Rockford Fosgate ground loop isolators (front, rear, and sub)
- All grounds are solid. Checked with a DMM.
- RCA and power wires are on either side of the car.
Is there anything else that could help?
Ground in a different location. sure your mulit may show a good ground rating, but that doesn’t mean its in a good spot. Re-ground in a different spot.
